osx - Dreamweaver svn commit failed-out of date -

i using dreamweaver cs5 , apache subversion. until today, setup had been error-free. however, when attempted check in file had revised, got following error message dreamweaver:

svn: #160024, commit failed (details follow): file or directory ‘about.html’ out of date; try updating resource out of date; try updating

background: user. svn hosted on mac on home network running os x 10.7. set way because never svn working on macbook pro, running mavericks. have tried getting current version, re-editing, checking in, have same problem. reverting file , re-editing fails on check-in.

in terminal on mac running svn, tried svn cleanup (& sudo svn cleanup), both of produced following response: svn: '.' not working copy directory. svn update produces 1 message: skipped '.'

i have used dreamweaver regularly on 15 years, started using svn couple of months ago. svn novice , followed great , detailed instructions on adobe website , running , connect dreamweaver. other 1 file, check-in/out process works fine. when right-click on problem file in dreamweaver's file list, go version control, , select "show revisions," date; is, shows revisions last 1 able check in.

this particular file has few revisions date, if easier , quicker somehow kick out of svn altogether , save current version back, fine. however, need able save version changes of going forward, anticipate significant changes in future.

any appreciated!

i've had these errors before. select file , latest version server. commit should work fine again.

don't know causes has worked me several times.
